HCM 9.2 Upgrade Training
Effective training is a key component contributing to the success of the HCM 9.2 Upgrade. As a result of the upgrade, various new features, functionalities, and changes to existing functionalities will be introduced. Providing adequate training will help to ensure that the transition goes smoothly and that all users are well prepared to continue using HCM.

Available Training
Based on the material covered, various types of training methods can be utilized. HCM 9.2 Training will include three different training formats: In Person Training, Video Tutorials and Training Documents. The materials can be accessed by clicking through the tabs below.
MSS Training
In person training will be provided for Manager Self Service (MSS) only. If you are a manager, supervisor, student supervisor or an employee delegated to approve time, it is recommended that you register for the two hour, hands-on training. MSS training has been scheduled for the following dates:
Wednesday, July 29; 9:00–10:30am
Thursday, July 30; 1:30–3:00pm
Monday, August 10; 2:00–3:30pm
Tuesday, August 11; 10:00–11:30am
Time & Labor Training
Time & Labor training was conducted in an open forum, demonstration format prior to the upgrade. The open forums covered the new feature that allows for the delegation of Time Approvals and included a review of additional information available on timesheets following the upgrade. E-Hire Training
Hands-on training was provided for the new E-Hire features resulting from the HCM 9.2 Upgrade. SES has made several process changes; including the discontinuation of paper hire forms. Effective May 26, 2015, all student employment hiring will be conducted using E-Hire.
With this significant change, SES required all users (including current E-Hire users) to attend a training session. Each session was scheduled for one hour and was conducted in a test environment. E-Hire training has been scheduled for the following dates:
Monday, July 20; 9:00-10:30am
Thursday, July 23; 3:00-4:30pm
Tuesday, August 4; 3:00-4:30pm
Wednesday, August 5; 9:00-10:30am

The HCM 9.2 Upgrade will take place over Memorial Day weekend (May 22 - May 26, 2015).
You should attend training to familiarize yourself with the upcoming changes and to help you navigate the new HCM application once the upgrade is complete. Training will help you to do your job/complete your scheduled tasks effectively and efficiently.
Any manager, supervisor, student supervisor or employee delegated to approve time should attend MSS training.
The MSS, in person trainings will last approximately 1.5 hours.
If you are unable to make the MSS training sessions, we also offer both training documentation and video tutorials on the topic. After utilizing these resources, if you still feel that you need some assistance with the features, please contact the HABIT Project Team to set up a one-on-one training session.
