Discover What's Waiting for You at BGSU Fall 2024: Embrace Opportunities and Soar

Let the countdown begin! As the BGSU Welcome Crew works on the final touches in preparation for Fall 2024, we’re looking forward to welcoming you back on campus.

  1. As you’ve probably discovered, finding your community at BGSU helps you make the most of your college experience. So even if you’ve already gotten involved on campus, why not try something new? With 300+ student organizations, BGSU has a group for every interest, from social justice to gaming clubs. BGSU Student Engagement is a great resource for discovering these organizations and other ways to make connections.

  2. It may look different, but it’s still serving up old favorites. The Campus Dining classic Kreischer Late Night is now the Sundial, serving all students for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Don’t forget to try the signature Falcon favorites. 🤤

  1. Remember our Community of Care commitment. We’re here to support your well-being and mental health. The Counseling Center offers free counseling services to students, and the Falcon Health Center provides medical and mental health services. Don’t hesitate to reach out for support if you need it.

  2. BGSU values the safety and well-being of all students. The See It. Hear It. Report It. form is a tool to report concerning or suspicious behavior to campus authorities. It's essential to look out for each other and report anything that feels off.
  3. Whether you're living on campus or off, BGSU has resources to support you. From residence hall resources to commuter services, we want to ensure you have what you need to succeed.

Remember to lean on your resident advisor and hall staff if you need support throughout the year. And if you experience a maintenance issue that needs to be addressed, don't be shy. Filling out a request form is a fast and easy way to get help. They can do a lot of things, but they can't read minds. 😉

If you’re a commuter student, the BGSU Orientation and Transitions office is a resource to help you connect with the campus.

  4. As your life gets busy, make time for our tried-and-true BGSU traditions. Break out your orange and brown on Falcon Fridays. Cheer along with SICSIC at Homecoming and home games. Give Freddie and Frieda a high five if you see them. And please, now is not the time to test tradition – stay to the right of the seal.
