The Robert W. and Patricia A. Maurer Center

The Robert W. and Patricia A. Maurer Center is the new home for the BGSU Allen W. and Carol M. Schmidthorst College of Business, opened in Fall 2020. This state-of-the art facility serves as a gateway to the academic core for the BGSU campus. The Maurer Center includes a complete renovation of the historic building Hanna Hall along with a 50,000-square-foot addition.

BGSU has adopted a bold, innovative, and broad-based approach to business education. The new building has been designed to allow for discovery-based learning, hands-on experimentation, and collaboration to support the development and education of 21st century business leaders and entrepreneurs. The Maurer Center utilizes state-of-the-art technology and allows faculty methods of teaching that facilitate deeper learning.
