Part-time Faculty Positions

The Schmidthorst College of Business at Bowling Green State University is currently accepting applications for part-time faculty to teach in face-to-face, synchronous remote, and/or fully asynchronous online formats in the following areas:

• Entrepreneurship
• Finance
• Information Systems
• International Business
• Introduction to Business
• Management/Human Resources
• Marketing
• Operations Management
• Organization Behavior
• Strategy
• Supply Chain Management

In your letter of application, please indicate which of the above areas you are applying for (you may choose more than one).

Minimum Qualifications: Successful applications will have an earned MBA or a Master’s Degree in the area of instruction or in a related field is required with substantial professional experience (at least five years) or a doctoral degree with substantial professional experience or scholarly activities. JD or higher from an ABA approved law schools is required for Business Law.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Applicants will have a degree from an AACSB accredited Business School;
2. Ten or more years of work experience in a related field, evidence of recent continuing education,  professional certification and/or currently working in their field
3. A record of teaching excellence; and/or
4. Experience in teaching face to face, synchronous remote, and fully asynchronous online formats

BGSU policy requires finalists to complete a background investigation and provide official transcipts prior to receiving an offer of employment.

Accepted applicants must complete online training on the science of learning and effective teaching to become a qualified adjunct and will remain in the qualified adjunct pool for active consideration for part-time teaching positions until June 30, 2025. Onboarding must be completed after acceptance of the offer.
