Pete Bahner

Pete Bahner CLU, ChFC, RICP, CLF was a member of Prudential’s Advisors Senior Leadership team before retiring in 2020. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Pete was a key contributor to the strategy and Financial direction of the company. Pete retired as the Vice-President for Mid America where he led over 700 Financial Advisors in 13 states. As a leader in the Financial Services Industry, Pete was an advocate for hiring future Advisors off of University campuses and to develop them as Financial Advisors and Planners. Pete was also an advocate for Women in Financial Services on the Local and National level.

Pete earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1985 from Bowling Green State University. Close to 20 years later, Pete returned to campus to serve as a member of the board for the Bowling Green State University Foundation and also served as the Treasurer of the Foundation. Pete and his wife Donna are advocates for paying it forward and have endowed a scholarship with the BGSU foundation.

Pete currently holds the Series 7, Series 6, Series 24, Series 26, and Series 51 with FINRA. Before retirement he also held his Michigan Life Insurance License and the FINRA series 65 and series 63.

Pete and Donna returned to Ohio after retirement and currently reside in Vermilion. Pete’s son Peter graduated from BGSU in 2014 and earned his CFP quickly after graduating with all of the course work complete. Pete’s daughter Alexandra Hervert graduated from Saint Xavier University in Chicago and currently is seeing the world as a flight attendant for United.
