Dr. Charles Mott Applied Statistics and Operations Research (ASOR) Scholarship

Description

The Dr. Charles Mott scholarship was created to provide support to undergraduate students studying within the Allen W. and Carol M. Schmidthorst College of Business with a degree specialization towards Business Analytics and Intelligence. This is the area of focus that most closely relates to the academic area of oversight that Dr. Mott oversaw during his years as a member of the faculty, including his years as Department Chair.

Eligibility:

• Be working towards a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with Allen W. and Carol M. Schmidthorst College of Business
• Have a degree specialization in Business Analytics and Intelligence
• Be an undergraduate student
• Maintain good academic standing
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Show community and/or campus engagement
• Demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA

Thomas A. and Catherine L. Smith Business Scholarship

Description

The Thomas A. and Catherine L. Smith Business Scholarship was established to support a student studying Business Analytics.

Eligibility:

• Must be a Allen W. and Carol M. Schmidthorst College of Business student in the Business Analytics Program
• Must have a minimum 3.20 GPA
• Must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior
• Must demonstrate financial need as reported on FAFSA
• First preference shall go to students with the highest need and are considered Pell/grant eligible
