Supply Chain Professor Presented Prestigious Northeast Asia Logistics Award
Dr. Hokey Min, professor of supply chain, was selected as the recipient of the prestigious Northeast Asia Logistics Award presented by three sponsoring organizations - Graduate School of Logistics at the Incheon National University, Asiana Airlines, and Sunkwang Terminal and Logistics.
This award is given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the northeast Asia logistics community. Dr. Min was recognized for his decades of contributions to scholarly research publications and the presentations he has given that help inform and educate the business community.
The award committee cites that Dr. Min has published more than 200 refereed journal articles in numerous academic journals. Approximately half of those publications appeared in journals that east Asian universities highly value because of their impact on global school rankings. Two regional congressmen - Kyungwook Min and Chandae Park - representing the city of Incheon, made congratulatory remarks via videoconferencing during the award presentation. Additionally, Dr. Min delivered a presentation at the conference entitled "Artificial Intelligence as the Emerging Dominant Design in Global Supply Chain Management."
Min, the BGSU James R. Good Chair in Global Supply Chain Strategy, is internationally known for his scholarly expertise in logistics and supply chain and is a highly cited scholar.
