PMBA Program Changes Course Structure with Working Professionals in Mind
PMBA courses will offer more flexibility for working professionals
The Professional Master of Business Administration (PMBA) program at BGSU will launch a new, blended course structure to allow more flexibility for working professionals. Instead of meeting twice every week, students will meet one evening per week in the classroom, with remaining coursework completed online.
David Chatfield, director of Executive and Professional Programs in Business, said the blended course structure reflects the growing demands on professionals.
“We live in a fast-paced world, where flexibility is important for working individuals,” Chatfield said. “Whether it be a business commitment or a family commitment, we want professionals to be able to do it all.”
The new course structure will launch with the fall 2019 cohort. For students already enrolled in the program, classes will continue as scheduled.
The PMBA program is offered at BGSU’s Perrysburg and Findlay locations. It provides the unique opportunity for 25-30 experienced professionals to work together as a cohort and maximize each individual’s personal and professional development. The program continues to be on The Princeton Review’s list of “Best Business Schools.”
