The Center for International Programs (CIP) provides a wide range of services for BGSU students and supports the University's efforts toward further internationalization. CIP works closely with academic units to recruit and retain international students and visiting scholars. Services for prospective students include admission processing, visa preparation, SEVIS records, arrival coordination, and orientation. Support for enrolled international students includes social security application, on-campus employment, identifying scholarship opportunities, and help in adjusting to the academic and life changes during their stay at BGSU. CIP staff, in conjunction with the World Student Association, provide social, cultural, and educational programs for international students, scholars, the campus, and the wider community.
