College of Technology, Architecture, and Applied Engineering

The College of Technology, Architecture & Applied Engineering uses a two-step admissions policy. The first step is to be admitted to BGSU and declare a major. Students are then admitted as pre majors. Once the student has taken specified courses with a "C" or better on their check sheet, have a 2.25 overall GPA and a 2.5 GPA in their major, and for some majors their first Co-op (TECH 2890), then they are fully admitted to the major. This is referred to as matriculation.
