Patricia L. Antonelli, M.L.S., assistant librarian
The BGSU Firelands Library functions as an integral part of the educational process. The collection of 40,000 book volumes, 218 current journal and newspaper subscriptions, and a wide variety of films, government documents, and other materials enhances the educational process. The collections of the University libraries in Bowling Green may be accessed by Firelands students through BGLINK, the online catalog, which also includes the BGSU Firelands holdings.
The library is also a member of OhioLINK. Students have ready access to materials held by college and university libraries throughout Ohio, which are delivered directly to the Firelands Library.
Computers in the library allow access to research databases, email, and other Internet services. Ample space is available for individual and group study. Instruction in using the library is offered throughout the year. Students are encouraged to take a one-credit course, Research in the Electronic Library (LIB 2210).
