BGSU Schedule Planner and Designer creates your ideal class schedule and supports future semester planning.

The Schedule Designer and Schedule Planner are easy-to-use tools to help you create your perfect class schedule and layout the rest of your degree requirements organized by semester, without the stress and difficulties of trying to manually navigate through all of the class offerings. The BGSU Schedule Planner and Designer are optimized to be used together but can be used independently. Learn more about the specific features and how these two tools make course scheduling easy and efficient.

Set up your entire academic path term-by-term to get the full picture of your deegree requirements. Customize this plan based on on your degree completion goals. 

Schedule Planner Benefits

  • Creating a new plan will automatically sync it to your declared major. 
  • Create multiple plans and select different programs. 
  • The degree audit will always reflect your current progress in real-time. 
  • Determine the classes you need, and begin adding them to the term you want to take them in. 
  • Check the bottom of the audit for any courses you have planned that are not part of your degree path.

GPA Calculator

Built into the Schedule Planner is an interactive GPA Calculator. It has multiple functions that will calculate the GPA needed each term to meet your “Graduation Goal GPA”. Choose between “Graduation Goal GPA I want”, “GPA I can average per term”, and “Max possible GPA I can get” to see the average GPA needed each term to reach this goal. Select “Set Graduation Goal GPA” to add this to the plan, or “Reset” to make any changes.

Seamlessly move the courses from your Schedule Planner to the Schedule Designer when it is time to register for classes. Repeat this each semester to quickly bring your planned classes into the Shopping Cart.

Schedule Designer

Design your ideal schedule with our new BGSU Schedule Designer. You are in control of the courses you register for by setting preferences for days, times and instructors. You can even set busy times for things like work, athletics, or other commitments.

Schedule Designer Benefits

  • Add up to 25 classes
  • Add a few additional classes you know you could take this semester to have more schedule options and more flexibility in case a class fills up. Click “Finished Adding Classes” to begin creating your schedules. There are two options to choose from: “Create Your Own” and “Auto-generate”. Create Your Own lets you handcraft your schedule, displaying all of the times your courses are being offered. Click the Finished Editing Sections button when all course selections have been determined. 
  • Auto-generate a possible schedule with your classes and choose your favorite. 
  • Set course or schedule preferences. 
  • Save multiple schedules, rename them, and make edits.
