Required Online Modules

This is your first BGSU assignment!

As a new student, you are required to complete modules as part of the BGSU multi-step orientation process that complement what you learn and experience during University Orientation.

The module series will be assigned to you after you attend orientation and you will be required to complete the series by the assigned deadline.

You will complete online modules that will teach you more about the BGSU community, help you discover resources and prepare you for success in and out of the classroom.

IMPORTANT: This is a University compliance requirement

All new students MUST complete these online modules. An email will be sent to your BGSU email account when each module series has been assigned, and additional reminders will be sent until each module has been completed.

If you do not complete this requirement:

  • You will not be eligible to join a student organization
  • A notice will be sent to your student success team to discuss next steps

Troubleshooting/Support

This online module series is supported by the Division of Community Well-Being, and their staff are available to assist you between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday at 419-372-2273 (CARE) or health@bgsu.edu.

BGSU recommends that students use a computer versus a mobile device to complete the modules.

BGSU recommends that students use the Chrome browser if available to complete the modules.

Please make sure you are logged in to the BGSU training portal and have an active session. Scroll up on the outer most scroll bar after you have completed your session time and hit the orange “back to program” button in the top left corner. Your progress should now be saved.

If this happens during a module section, you may need to press play again in order for the system to log completion of that component. You may need to do this a few times in a single video.
