Beta Gamma Sigma

Purpose:

The mission of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business, to cultivate and celebrate leadership and professional excellence, to advance the values of the Society, and to serve its lifelong members.

BGS is the international business honor society. Since 1913 they have recognized and honored top-performing students from around the world in business schools accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). They are also a proud member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS). They are dedicated to providing lifetime value for our members, by offering programs, connections, benefits, and opportunities to every individual within our organization.

Membership:

AACSB accredits the top business schools worldwide. Of the students at those universities, BGS invites the following:

• top 10% of undergraduate students;
• top 20% of graduate students;
• and all doctoral business candidates that have successfully defended their dissertation.

This assures that BGS members belong to an organization synonymous with the highest standards of academic excellence.
