For student delegates:

The Ohio JSHS encourages secondary school students (student delegates) to attend the symposium to interact with students who performed scientific research. There will be a registration fee of $25 for each student delegate who attends the full symposium. The symposium will pay for the hotel room charges (Wednesday and Thursday nights) and for all meals.

Student delegates may also attend for one day only (Thursday). They will pay at $10 registration fee. This fee covers lunch only. Student delegates attending for only one day will not receive an OJSHS shirt, be able to attend the banquet, or stay at the hotel.

Student delegates (maximum of 4 per school not including paper and poster presenters) must be accompanied by a teacher from their school and must submit the registration form by the registration deadline. (Note: Student delegate cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to the symposium. Otherwise, the school will be charged with meals and hotel charges for those delegates cancelling after that date and/or for no-shows).

For teachers:

Teachers may attend the Ohio JSHS for free as long as they are chaperoning at minimum four full participation (Wed. – Fri.) student participants (paper and poster presenters). The symposium will pay for the teachers' $25 registration fee, hotel room charges (Wednesday and Thursday nights) and for all meals, however, they must register by the deadline and let the Ohio JSHS staff know which students they will be chaperoning. (Note: Teacher cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to the symposium. Otherwise, the school will be charged with meals and hotel charges for those delegates cancelling after that date and/or for no-shows).
