McDonald Family Scholarship

Donald F. McDonald established this scholarship in honor of his children, Gaines ('95) and Brody ('95 & '01), both graduates of BGSU. This scholarship is a way for Donald to pay it forward to future students and provide them with life-changing opportunities like those that BGSU gave to his family.

Established in 2024, the McDonald Family Scholarship provides financial support to BGSU students in the Honors College. Eligible students must be enrolled full-time and be a member of the Honors College in good academic standing. Preference will be given to students actively participating in the Falcon Marching Band.

One $1,000 scholarship is awarded each year.

The scholarship application will be available on AcademicWorks in spring and is due on March 1st.
