With just weeks left in the spring semester, our students, faculty, staff
and alumni are excelling on all fronts!
Congratulations to the
10 outstanding recipients of the College Alumni Award! Honorees were recognized for their accomplishments and
service to their professions, their communities and to the University.
Awards like these remind us of the talented and dedicated Falcons who
continue to change the world every day.
On April 11, we will host BGSU One Day, a day focused on
giving. Support your BGSU passion and show the world the impact that
Falcons can make. Leading up to April 11 and throughout the 36-hour
campaign, share your BGSU story by using #BGSUOneDay!
Save the date! Plan to return to campus to celebrate
Falcon Family Weekend
scheduled for September 8-10, and Homecoming
starting October 13. Event details will be available this summer!
Recently, more than 350
faculty and staff were recognized for their service to BGSU
- a 5,393-year total commitment! From the professor who has been in the
classroom for more than 30 years to the career-long technician, these
dedicated professionals make BGSU an outstanding institution.
At the end of the 2017 season,
BGSU will close its Forrest Creason golf course. I want you, our alumni and friends, to know that we took this decision
very seriously. I know that many of you have happy memories of that course.
Consider returning to campus to play one last round.
Tomorrow, we will celebrate the arts at
Bravo!BGSU
and next week, the College of Business Administration will host its annual
Entrepreneurship Week! I hope you have a chance to attend or follow the excitement on social
media.
Regards,
Mary Ellen Mazey, Ph.D.
