1. Planetarium Show: Double Feature - "Two Small Pieces of Glass: The Amazing Telescope" and "Chasing the Ghost Particle: From the South Pole to the Edge of the Universe"

Description: "Two Small Pieces of Glass" tells the story of the invention of the telescope in the early 1600s and how astronomers have used telescopes from Galileo to the modern day. This full dome video show finishes by looking ahead to possible giant telescopes of the futures. "Two Small Pieces of Glass" will be followed by "Chasing the Ghost Particle", which tells the story of a unique astronomical observatory, IceCube, located at the South Pole. See how IceCube was built and how it searches for elusive neutrinos. These low mass, hard to detect particles help astronomers unlock many of the mysteries of the cosmos.
Stargazing will follow the show if the skies are clear.

Description: Join two kids as they take their cardboard rocket on an adventurous tour around the Solar System and learn the secret of the cardboard rocket. This is a delightful and popular full dome video show.

Description: Join us for one of Dr. Dale Smith’s most beloved programs and take a unique journey from the Milky Way to the Universe at large and back to Earth to discover the place of the Earth and humans in the Universe.
This show premiered as a public show in 1988.
Stargazing will follow the show if skies are clear.

4. Summer II – Learn to Skate
Date and Time: From 5:30-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30, Aug. 6 and Aug. 13.

Description: Summer II – Learn to Skate classes begin July 9-10 at the Slater Family Ice Arena!
Learn to Skate lessons offered to ages three through adult, including first-time and beginner skill levels to advanced skill levels.
Programming introduces the wide range of skating opportunities from figure skating and hockey to recreational skating.
Additional opportunities available based on skating skill and interest. Sport helmet required. Must be provided by the participant. There will also be a six-week summer session from July 9 to Aug. 14.

1. Focus Group Opportunity: Undergraduate HHS Students

Description: We invite students of color enrolled in our Health and Human Services (HHS) programs at BGSU to participate in a focus group that aims to gain a clearer understanding of the challenges and opportunities in core science courses and within our HHS majors. The focus group interview will provide valuable insights that will help inform our efforts to create a more inclusive learning environment for all students. We assure you that all data collected as part of this study will remain confidential. You will receive a $25 Amazon gift card as an incentive for participating in the focus group.

Description: The BGSU Grab-N-Go program through the Dean of Students Office is running out of food. If you have any food you would like to donate please drop it off in University Hall 303, any time between 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are particularly looking for crackers, pasta sauce, canned vegetables, canned fruit, cereal, soup and peanut butter. However, all shelf-stable, unopen food or hygiene items are welcome.

3. Life Design Affiliate Day Workshop for Faculty and Staff

Description: Join us for a full-day immersive Life Design experience. In the morning participants will experience Life Design tools focused on you. In the afternoon participants will apply knowledge gained to ideate and prototype how you might integrate life design mindsets and tools into your work.
Any faculty or staff member is welcome to attend this workshop regardless of your current level of understanding of Life Design. Lunch will be provided. This workshop is facilitated by Executive Director, Adrienne Ausdenmoore and members of the Radbill Center.
