Description: Your Falcons host the Broncos this for a weekend series! Join us at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 3 and at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 for Graduation/Star Wars Day. The final game of the series is at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 5. Admission is free for anyone, so come support your Falcons!

2. Don't miss this year's Teaching and Learning Summit
Date and Time: From 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7.
Location: Olscamp Hall. Faculty and staff parking is available in Lot N. Commuter student parking is available in Lot 1 or 16. Paid parking is available at the front of Lot N near Jerome Library.

Description: Registration is still available for the annual Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) Teaching and Learning Summit! The theme for this year’s Summit is “Forward: The Future of Teaching and Learning.” The keynote speech, “AI for Humanity: Artificial Intelligence, Higher Education and the Public Good,” delivered by Dr. Betsy Barre, Ph.D., the Executive Director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching at Wake Forest University, will reflect on the practical and ethical implications of AI use in teaching and learning. In addition to the keynote speech, the Summit will feature invited panel discussions, interactive sessions, campus partner networking sessions, round table discussions and a reception and recognition ceremony. Registration is open to all members of the BGSU community.

3. ITS Service Desk Summer Hours

4. Silent Auction during ASC Awards Banquet
Date and Time: From 2:30-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7.
Location: BTSU Ballroom
Learn more about the Administrative Staff Awards Banquet.
Description: Do tickets to Cedar Point or Imagination Station or Campus Music Events interest you? Coffee, hair care products or a car wash detailing kit? Come see what is available at the Silent Auction during the ASC Awards Ceremony. Starting 30 minutes before the banquet until the last call towards the end of the banquet, bids will be accepted on these items and so much more! Bidding will be in $1 increments. We will announce the winners at the end of the banquet. All items must be paid for and taken with you at the end of the event. Cash, check and credit cards will be accepted for payment. All proceeds will benefit our student scholarship fund. Everyone is welcome. Come check it out!

5. Help plant the BGSU Community Garden

Description: It's planting season! Everyone is invited to help the BGSU Community Garden from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, May 6. A collaboration between the Chapman Learning Community and the Falcon Food Pantry, the BGSU Community Garden of 10 raised beds provides free fresh produce to our campus community throughout the summer and early fall.

2. Summer 2024 online CS Course: CS3160 Windows Application Development

Description: This elective computer science course is no longer offered during fall and spring. It is now only offered in summer. Don't miss this opportunity. Spaces are limited.
Using Microsoft Visual Studio 2022, implement graphical user interfaces on Windows OS with object-oriented C# programming. Also, learn event-driven programming, Windows Forms applications using .NET, data validation (files, XML), handling graphics (GDI+), accessing databases (SQL, ADO.NET), basics of n-tier application design, and much, much more!
This second 6-week summer session course is 100% ONLINE, so plan to enroll in CS 3160-101W (#42613)!
