"The typical student who completes the Graduate Certificate in Food and Nutrition also completes the Dietetic Internship, which will make them eligible to become a Registered Dietitian.  Students may complete the Certificate requirements but still need to fulfill Internship requirements to become eligible to sit for the  Registration Exam.  The above numbers reflect students who have completed both the Certificate and Internship requirements and have passed the Registration Exam.

Re: Placement Rate Methodology – our Accreditation requires that we track employment within 6 months of program completion. A student may in fact complete Graduate Certificate requirements in August, but not be eligible to take the exam until March, if they took the fully allotted amount of time required by our Accreditation guidelines. This is also assuming they seek employment – some delay due to pregnancy, for example."
