Summer is upon us, and with it comes a moment to celebrate the many recent successes in the Schmithorst College of Business. Thank you to all who attended and participated in Entrepreneurship Week in April. The week was an outstanding success, and you can read more about it below.
Julie Brandle ’93, Bruce Fisher ’68, Mike Hart ‘94, and Eric Nowlin ’82 were inducted into the Paul J. Hooker Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership Hall of Fame.
BGSU was abuzz with energy as students, faculty, staff and alumni came together to share wisdom, discuss the future of entrepreneurship and celebrate the power of business to overcome obstacles.
Dr. Janet Hartley, professor and associate dean of Schmidthorst graduate programs, faculty affairs, budgeting and research, is the first recipient of this new endowed professorship.
The Karl E. Vogt Outstanding Senior Award recognizes the top graduating business undergraduate student who has demonstrated superior scholarship, participation, leadership and excellence in campus and community activities.
