Greetings from the College of Business as we approach the official start of spring in a few weeks!
The campus is bustling with students and the College's faculty and staff are preparing to move into the Robert W. and Patricia A. Maurer Center by the end of spring. We are excited to transfer our nationally recognized business program to the state-of-the-art facility designed to prepare the next generation of innovative business leaders.
Our business program continues to be ranked among the top 30 public business programs in the country by Poets&Quants. The ranking for 2020 maintains BGSU's #29 spot, evidence of the world-class business education students receive here.
Besides our move to the new business building, we anticipate another highly successful celebration of entrepreneurship (E-Week) the week of April 20. This issue of Biz News is devoted to stories about these events and about entrepreneurship.
BGSU is also launching a new summer camp for high school students - Hatch® the Next Big Idea. Campers will work to plan, develop and showcase their own unique ideas for a chance to be sponsored by local companies. Learn more and apply for Hatch® the Next Big Idea.
Spring semester will be full of examples of how our College goes beyond business as usual. I hope to see many of you at our spring events!
Warm Regards,
Ray Braun '80
