We are proud of the many accomplishments and activities that have taken place this fall. Please read about our student success at recent competitions in this issue of Biz News.
The Women in Leadership Conference was an outstanding success with over 600 people packing the Hilton Garden Inn to learn about “Strategies for Achieving your Dream Career.”
A record number of prospective students and their families visited campus for College of Business Day to learn about how they can Belong, Stand Out, Go Far with a BGSU business degree. Prospective students and their parents got a sneak peek of the new Robert W. and Patricia A. Maurer Center and posted their tour experiences on social media.
We are proud of former Hatchling, Elsa (Vogel) Vos ‘15, who launched her business, Pieces of Me, through The Hatch® in 2015. Since then, Pieces of Me has transitioned into a leading designer of meaningful jewelry and was featured on NBC’s show “TODAY with Hoda and Jenna” November 4. Her Pieces of Me jewelry was part of a segment called Preview top gifts for 2019 holiday season.
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, we are thankful for the driving success of this College and look forward to many more success stories to tell. My best wishes for you and your family and friends!
Warm regards,
Dean
