As we approach the halfway point of spring semester, we are excited about upcoming events and a new executive program.
The biggest events of the year take place during our celebration of entrepreneurship, E-week, which is April 8-12. The week-long celebration brings together thousands of students, alumni, business and community leaders, faculty, staff, and entrepreneurial experts. Together, we focus and inspire innovation in business and our business education programs.
The week begins with a series of lunch and learns featuring speakers who will share their roadmaps to success. New this year, a Women in Entrepreneurship Panel will highlight four outstanding women business leaders and innovators. This year's entrepreneur-in-residence is Mark West, CEO of Shared Clarity, who will meet with aspiring student entrepreneurs.
We will induct four honorees to the prestigious Paul J. Hooker Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership Hall of Fame: Bill Dabbelt, David Hainline and Bob and Pat Maurer. We will also host the Insiders' Luncheon, led this year by our students. The Hatch™ and HatchTonight will take place in the Stroh Center and we anticipate thousands to be in attendance. The week culminates with the sold-out Sebo Series in Entrepreneurship, featuring the theme “Blockchain: The Next Big Disruptor is Here”.
In addition to E-week, we are in the midst of recruiting our first cohort for fall 2019 for the new Executive Doctorate in Organization Development and Change degree program. The innovative program is designed to open new avenues of opportunity for experienced professionals who wish to lead transformational change in business, organizations, education and communities.
This special edition College of Business update previews the exciting E-week events. We hope you join us on campus to celebrate innovation!
