Greetings!

We end fall semester with great news of achievements we are proud to share. A team of three business students finished fifth in the world for the Capsim Challenge, a business simulation competition. BGSU has the most Top 6 finalists compared to any other competing university.
For the first time, we submitted our entrepreneurship minor program for ranking by The Princeton Review. We are #52 out of 300 universities submitting their programs for ranking. BGSU’s The Hatch® is ranked #44 in the subcategory of “Outside the Classroom” which looks at business venture competitions and total prizes awarded. The ranking committee was impressed with our strong inaugural showing.
We are proud that more than 135 students graduated during December’s commencement ceremony, earning a degree from a college that is nationally recognized for its excellence.
The upcoming year will bring many more achievements and exciting events. E-Week is April 20-24, 2020, and the Grand Opening of our new business building is set for Saturday, September 12, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
As the holidays approach, please read about how two of our international students celebrate the holidays in their countries.
From the entire College, we wish you Happy Holidays and a prosperous New Year!
Warm regards,
Ray Braun ‘80
