Bowling Green State University 10% scholarship for Six Flags Entertainment Corporation full-time employees and eligible family members 


Building on our partnership with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, which includes the Six Flags Entertainment Corporation Resort and Attraction Management bachelor's degree program—one of the only degrees of its kind in America embedded in a theme park—this scholarship invites full-time Six Flags Entertainment Corporation employees and their dependents to further their education with our accessible and flexible online programs tailored to meet their needs, spanning certificates, associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.

The 10% scholarship is available exclusively for Six Flags Entertainment Corporation full-time employees, spouses, and dependents, applicable from Fall 2024 to Summer 2029. This scholarship is valid for selected BGSU Online programs*

After being admitted, interested employees should complete the employment verification form to start the process. *Beginning in Fall Semester 2024 and continuing through Summer Semester 2029, BGSU will provide a 10% instructional fee scholarship on programs of study offered through BGSU online, limited to programs in the eCampus and distance campus codes. This scholarship will apply to the following individuals: full-time employees of Six Flags Entertainment Corporation and their spouses and dependents. Employee and spousal/dependent status will be determined by BGSU in accordance with its usual processes and must be verified before the scholarship is applied. This scholarship may not be combined with any other institutional-funds scholarships, discounts, or offers. Please note that there may be tax implications, as the Internal Revenue Service considers graduate tuition benefits as taxable income.
