Katie Schmitz

I am currently a second-year student with a double specialization in Marketing and International Business. In addition to being a Student Ambassador, I am the VP of Finance and Conferences for the American Marketing Association.

During my free time, I enjoy watching sports, playing video games, and utilizing both social media and digital platforms in a variety of ways. I also grew up as a military child, so I am always ready to adapt to change.

After graduation, I hope to work for a professional sports team doing social media marketing and management. I think combining two of your passions is the best way to pursue your future career.

The Schmidthorst College of Business has become a place that I can easily call my second home. The first day I walked into the building and met a current marketing student, I knew that this would be the place where my excitement for business would flourish. With the number of support systems, resources, and networking BGSU has to offer, any dream you have can become a reality.
