Learn more about Student Ambassador, Katie Staubus

From June to December, Katie Staubus had the opportunity to complete a supply chain management internship with CACI, Inc. – Federal as an IT Buyer. There she worked with CACI customers to procure for their employees various IT equipment, ranging from laptops and accessories to detailed pieces to complete cabling construction at various locations.  

This was Staubus’s first internship, so she took this time to familiarize herself with general business knowledge that she had not yet learned in her classes, and she practiced her communication skills with end users, sellers and the people she worked with every day.

“Working at CACI was so special to me because I was never treated as an intern,” said Staubus. “I was given the same responsibilities as another IT Buyer in my department.” 

She admits that she really liked that she was held to the same expectations as those around her, despite her age and experience level. “Completing this internship truly helped me experience living on my own, working in a professional atmosphere, and understand what I would like to do in my future career.”
