Huanzhen Xu

Huanzhen, who is also known as Psyche, is a 3rd year clinical psychology graduate student at BGSU. She is originally from Sichuan, China, which is the hometown of spicy Chinese food. She moved to the U.S. in 2013 and completed her BS in Psychology at University of Minnesota Duluth. Psyche’s research interests include chronic stress, third-wave therapies, and diversity. As an international student herself, she is especially interested in studies of stress and well-being among international students. After graduation, Psyche plans to work in research and practice. Psyche is a big fan of movies and documentaries, and she loves to sing.
