Information Systems
The Information Systems specialization teaches the application of computers to business problems. The program provides in-depth study of the use of the systems approach, methods of systems design, and the application of the computer as a functional tool within an organization.
Students of this program can analyze an organization's information needs, plan a computer-based delivery system to meet these needs, and direct the implementation and operation of the system.
The IS specialization at BGSU ranks #24 among all public universities and #50 among all universities (BusinessWeek).
