The Schmidthorst College of Business offers many opportunities for alumni and friends of the University to share their experiences with our students by speaking at events.
Opportunities include the following major events:
This special series is held twice annually and features current or former CEOs of notable companies who bring their executive corporate expertise to present current business topics to students, faculty, staff, and the business community.

This series of monthly presentations to MBA students includes top level executives from important companies. These presentations are typically held one Friday per month from 4 - 5 p.m. Previous speakers include:

Michael Laming (’74) (’83) senior vice president – Genworth Financial Inc., - a Fortune 500 company
Stephanie Imhoff (’82) CFO, The Longaberger Company, known worldwide for its exquisite baskets
Aggie Haslup (’74) (’76), vice president, Worldwide Marketing, Quest Software - leader in developing and managing custom roadside towing and third party administrator services and auto insurance claims software
James Bailey (’67), former COO of U.S. Trust Corporation and retired executive vice president of Citicorp/Citibank Credit Cards

Economic Colloquia presents research by outstanding professors and is hosted by the Department of Economics
St. Johns Series is hosted by the Department of Applied Statistics and Operations Research
Marketing Alumni Days is a two-day event bringing back graduates from the Department of Marketing who present in marketing classes
Supply Chain Management Institute Dinner Meeting occurs twice per year and is hosted through the Department of Management’s and features speakers in the supply chain management profession
