All student bills are online and are generally available immediately after you register or change your schedule (Fall available-July 2nd, Spring available-December 1st, and Summer available-April 1st). Students should check their online bill frequently because various charges could post at any time. As a courtesy, you will receive an email notification to your BGSU email account when there has been activity on your account and that your bill is available for viewing and payment. You will not receive a paper bill in the mail.

Below are the most common reasons your semester bills may be different:
Housing Deposit-If you made a $200.00 housing deposit for the academic year, the deposit will only be applied to the fall bill.
Scholarships-If a scholarship is designated for fall only, it will only apply to the fall bill.
Health Insurance-Health insurance is typically assessed in both semesters. The fall coverage is from the start of the semester (mid-August) to December 31st and billed based on the length of time of coverage. The Spring coverage is from January 1st to the following start of the next fall semester (mid-August) and assessed for the length of coverage. The spring assessment is larger due to the variance of coverage.
Course and Class Fees-These fees are assessed based on your enrollment and are assessed within the semester you are enrolled.
Parking Permit-If you opt for the annual permit it is assessed with the fall bill only.
Matriculation Fee-This is a onetime administrative intake fee and generally assessed with the fall bill.
Fall balances are due August 1st, Spring balances are due January 1st, and Summer balances are due May 1st.
Title IV funds are federal funds awarded to students for tuition and fee
coverage. Pell and SEOG grants, Perkins, and Federal Direct Student
Loans, are all forms of this aid. This aid may be awarded to students
through their financial aid package, and can only cover tuition, fees
and contracted room and board, unless the students authorize payment to
pay miscellaneous fees.

Yes, BGSU offers an installment payment plan each semester.
4 for the Fall (August-November), 4 for the Spring (January-April), and 3 (May-July) for the Summer.

The 1098-T form is used by eligible educational institutions to report information about their students to the IRS as required by the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997. The 1098-T form is informational only and should not be considered as tax advice. It serves as an alert to students that they may be eligible for federal income tax education credits such as the Lifetime Learning and the American Opportunity Credit as part of their Federal Income Tax Return.
