Making a difference starts here.
Academic programs in the college provide students the knowledge and experience necessary to make a difference in enhancing people’s well-being and quality of life. Each of the programs meets or exceeds the standards set for the health and human services disciplines, including national accreditations for medical laboratory science, gerontology, dietetics, nutrition sciences, social work and speech-language pathology.
For the Public Good
“The faculty and staff of the College of Health and Human Services are committed not only to providing quality classroom and laboratory experiences where students gain disciplinary knowledge, but are also committed to the application of this knowledge in professional settings. All of our students engage with the professional community through clinical, internship or other applied external experiences. We believe engaging in their profession encourages students to understand their role in the larger community and to appreciate the value of serving others.”
