BGSU to kick off 36-hour online fundraising campaign to support wide variety of initiatives on March 29
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University kicks off its annual day of giving - One Day 2023 - on March 29 with the goal of creating even more life-changing opportunities for current and future BGSU students.
The seventh annual event engages BGSU alumni and supporters, and last year’s campaign saw participation from nearly 3,000 donors, representing every state in the nation and dozens of countries around the world.
Funds from this year’s 36-hour online fundraising campaign support a broad spectrum of needs in areas such as professional development, experiential learning, research, learning communities, mental health resources, diversity and belonging initiatives, student organizations, athletics and club sports, student media, and each of the University's colleges and academic units, among many other programs.
Through BGSU One Day, donors have the opportunity to choose which fund or funds they wish to support, including financial gap scholarships, diversity and belonging initiatives, athletics and club sports, colleges and academic programs.
The support during last year's transformational day of giving raised a record-breaking $1.5 million to make a wide variety of higher education opportunities attainable for current and future BGSU students.
Falcon alumni already have been participating in One Day through the early giving website.
