Rental Vehicles

Insurance for rented vehicles is provided by the rental company. Rentals using The BGSU Enterprise Contracts include insurance in the rental rate. Renting from any other company, insurance should be accepted as part of the rental contract.

Should proof of insurance be needed for a rented vehicle, the following options are available:

• Show copy of Rental Agreement which states Insurance is included in the rental. This should be sufficient evidence.
• Many rental cars include a copy of their proof of insurance in the glove compartment.
• If neither of those options are acceptable, provide the BGSU Auto Insurance ID Card, link above.
