‘Dealing with Difficult People’ slated for BG campus
A second session of "Dealing with Difficult People" has been scheduled on the Bowling Green campus. Part of the “Learning to Lead” free professional development series, the session will begin at 2 p.m. Aug. 23 in 315 Bowen-Thompson Student Union.
All BGSU employees are invited to participate in the series, presented by Impact Solutions and offered by the Office of Human Resources.
The next regularly scheduled session is “Working with Diverse Populations,” led by Thomas O’Reilly, at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 17 in 308 Union.

Get moving with free Couch to 5K program
Can’t picture yourself as a 5K participant? With the BGSU WellAware Couch to 5K program, it can happen. The deadline to register is Friday (Aug. 5).
Tailored to first-time runners, the free, eight-week support program for faculty, staff and family members provides group training sessions from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays that include strengthening and stretching; a C25K training app that alternates between walking and running; three-times-a-week workouts (twice on your own and once with the group); and weekly motivational newsletters. There are also opportunities for individualized assistance from a certified personal trainer.

Williams Hall to close next week for electrical upgrade
As part of BGSU’s ongoing upgrades to the utilities infrastructure, electrical service to Williams Hall is being replaced. Consequently, the building will need to be shut down for one week to accomplish this work.
The Williams Hall power shutdown is scheduled to take place Aug. 8-13.
During this period, no one will be allowed access to the building. Building occupants who require access to copiers, computer labs or software during the shutdown should contact Ginny Pinkelman at 372-2006 or ginnyg@bgsu.edu.
