60th Anniversary Season
The summer fun is about to begin at the Huron Playhouse 60th Anniversary Season (July 1-August 2).
All alumni will be welcomed throughout the season and recognized at the plays. Special alumni celebration events are planned
for Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26. On Friday there will be an open house all day at the Huron Playhouse. At 5 pm, there will be a pay-as-you-go gathering on
the patio of the Huron Yacht Club. On Saturday there is a free luncheon at the Cedar Point Center at BGSU Firelands, followed
by alums entertaining each other in the McBride Theatre nearby. Playhouse alum Ronn Koerper will be at the piano to provide
accompaniment for musical numbers. For those who may wish, rehearsal time may be arranged on Friday. This is envisioned as
an informal time for alums to show off and do something they like or never got a chance to do before in the theatre, and there
will be media coverage for this historic event.
At 5: 00 pm, there will be a more formal pay-as-you-go dinner from the menu selections upstairs at the Huron Yacht Club. At
8: 00 pm, alums will be recognized at the Huron Playhouse before the performance of Neil Simon’s Rumors.
We would appreciate RSVP's for the Friday and Saturday events so that we may make arrangements for food and Saturday night
ticket reservations. Play tickets will be the special rate of $12.00 for alumni.
