University project of updating entire wireless network to be completed in 15 months
Bowling Green State University recently started a $4.7 million wireless project to update the nearly 3,000 wireless access points across its campuses.

Protecting the historic Irwin Wet Prairie of the Oak Openings region has been the goal of The Nature Conservancy (TNC), Toledo Metroparks and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for more than 40 years. Recently, TNC broke ground on the Sandhill Crane Wetlands project, a 280-acre parcel in the area. Alexis Sakas, natural infrastructure director of TNC Ohio, talks about the project and its significance. Watch the episode online. Yacobucci to conduct NCFDD webinar on June 22
Dr. Peg Yacobucci will conduct a webinar from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, for the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD). The webinar, which also will be available on demand, is titled “How to Be a Strong Sponsor and Advocate for Faculty.”
The webinar content is an outgrowth of the University’s BGSU ALLIES grant project. In the webinar, Yacobucci explains the important role that sponsors and advocates can play in supporting their diverse faculty colleagues’ career advancement.
BGSU has an institutional membership to the NCFDD that provides access for faculty, staff, graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to NCFDD professional development and mentoring programs. More details are available through the BGSU Center for Faculty Excellence website.
