Undergraduates to present research at BGSU symposium
See the research achievements of students in a wide variety of disciplines at the Undergraduate Symposium for Research and Scholarship Saturday (April 23) in Olscamp Hall. Eighty students will give poster presentations on the first floor and another 24 will give oral presentations on the second floor in three concurrent sessions.
The event opens at 9 a.m. with a welcome by Dr. Cordula Mora, director of the Center for Undergraduate Research and Scholarship (CURS), and remarks by Dr. Michael Ogawa, vice president for research and economic development and dean of the Graduate College.
The Undergraduate Faculty Mentor of the Year Award will go to Dr. Andrew Gregory, School of Earth, Environment and Society.
Four students will be chosen to receive awards, two for poster and two for oral presentations. The handmade glass awards will be presented at a later date.

The symposium is hosted by CURS and the Northwest Ohio Center of Excellence in STEM Education.
